guys my dad as a 1.9sdi octavia 2003 and i need to get new front disks for it but have been told it could either 280 or 285mm. which one you thnk i need? thanks

I think they're 256x22mm on the SDI as standard. Bigger on the TDIs.

Take a wheel off and measure!

:iagree: I'm not certain, but I think the SDi has 256s. There is nothing that I know of that has 285mm discs: 280 or 288 yes, but not 285.
