Hi Everyone

Just got rid of a gas guzzling Jeep for a Skoda Octavia Estate 1.9TDI to travel back and forth to France - Averaged 60MPG - Am I in heaven :P

Always joked with my father over his persistence with Skoda in the old days as it he suffered a lot of derisory remarks - Well no more.

The car performed superbly and we covered 3k in 3 weeks which would have needed a second mortgage in the Jeep.

Feel a love affair coming on :thumbup:

Looking forward to saving more money this year - All the best to you lucky people :)

Octygone - My father owned 2 Skodas from 1979 to 1992 last being a Rapide, never had any problems with either, other than normal wear & tear, he loved both, however, a little noisy on the ear for me.
