Amusing Ebay description (at least I thought so)

Featured Replies

The car was a daily runner up until a few months ago and has been regularly serviced and used for getting to and from work with typical VW Group reliability. Just had £400 worth of engine work done including a skimmed head and new injector, but now needs two new shock absorbers and a couple of tyres to get it back on the road. The spring seats have collapsed on the front dampers and are rubbing against the back of the tyres.

1997 Skoda Felicia Estate 1.6 SLXi on eBay, also, Skoda, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 24-Jan-08 20:33:02 GMT)

I'm sure some one would buy this on here

It's amazing how people prioritise - skimming the head and leave the dampers rusting to pieces.

"One or two rust spots elsewhere but no perforation as far as I can see" is a good one, and "There’s damage along the near side...but I haven’t been able to get any pictures of this" also inspires a lot of confidence

But for those with a tow truck at hand £50 for the scrap parts (alloys included) doesn't sound totally unreasonable

OMG ... That's the spitting image of Clutterbuck !
