Cancelling an ebay bid

Featured Replies

I'm hoping someone has experience of this:

I'm currently selling something on ebay and stated in my selling terms that I wouldn't sell to anyone outside UK (because of postal hassle). Someone from Greece is bidding on the item - do I have legitimate grounds for cancelling his bidding?

I've sent him an email explaining the situation but haven't had a response.

I'd be very grateful for comments.

Just cancel it ;)

I always say NO BIDDING if under 5 pos feedback and they still bid

When you cancel the bid you just put your reason in the box and the bidder will be blocked from bidding :)

You cancel bids by going to:

"site map"

Then

"cancel bids on your listing" (under Selling activities)

Then you just need to fill in the three boxes with auction number, Bidder ID, and the reason. Piece of pi... cake. :D

Thats the way to do it.

I think as it was stated within your auction - Remove it. I have had this done countless times.

Royal pain in the a.. Behind :D

Use the thanks button then! :P ;)

Another tip before listing the item is to restrict who can bid on your item, its possible to set your preferences so that only UK accounts, and those with a min feedback level can even place bids. If anyone else tries they are blocked, so you dont have to much hassle to worry about.
