Poorly Car

Featured Replies

Right for the last few weeks my car, diesel Ocatvia (110) has been rather stuttery especially between 1 and 2k revs. IT is deicdely worse when cold and then one day it went into limp mode with the following error code spat out:

The car has been remapped from around 20000 miles and is now about 3.5 years old. A bit of research would seem to suugest either the MAF of the N75 or possibly sticky turbo?

I could not find that much info on here regarding this fault so just wanted to get peoples views on which part to start with. The car is not driven that gently so I can't imagine that it is a sticky turbo, in addition I have tried manually moving the adjustor on the turbo to llok for any signs of stickiness and there is none.

TIA

Quick test for the MAF is to disconnect it. If the car runs better, then that's your culprit.

Check the small pipe that connects to the airbox under the MAF area.
