Bye!

Featured Replies

Well i still havent sold my skoda but i logged on today to see if there were any threads i could help out with and i saw none, then noticed a bar at the top telling me i should try posting on here, well i supose its finally time to say goodbye!

I bought my skoda in march last year and since then ive had to be towed to bridgend from derby and milton keynes, spent well over £300 on repairs and crashed it - but to be fair i loved it it was a great first car, full of character (thats what its called honest) if not slightly pricey to insure and a little thirst on the petrol

but now i have a peugeot 306, slightly bigger engine so more suited for going up and down the motorways and it comes with a lot more toys (electric windows A/C Half leather seats....all the more to go wrong!) Everyone on here has been really helpful to me and i cant thank you guys enough, if it wasnt for a couple of members (ive always been crap with names) i would have taken it to a garage and had to spend in the region of £2000 on repairs!

so im off for now but i may return in a few years if i can afford to find and buy back my felly!

Sad news...

you're welcome to stay as long as you want to, Briskoda's full of Subaru, BMW, Nissan owners and other strange people - you're probably not the only one driving a Pug! One never knows when your Felly experience may come in handy.

Excactly!

The general feeling I get from this place is that we are all here as friends that help each other out with their Skodas and enjoy a bit of chit chat. It would be a bit odd for a Skoda hater to spend time here, but someone like yourself that is friendly and has a fondness for the marque is welcome with open arms in my opinion. I don't reckon that actually owning or currently driving a Skoda is a requirement to be here.

I guess Colin D, other admin or mods will tell me if I'm wrong. :)

Stick around; not only would you be far from the only non-Skoda owner, but some of us have fond memories of the 306 and its ZX cousin.

I haven’t been given my marching orders for buying a none Skoda (yet) so why not stick around and give us the benefit of another none Skoda marque to compare to.

Stick around Jeffers. Skoda not sold? is that the Blue Felicia in Wales?

One of my former colleagues was looking for a car but he said he couldnt find any decent ones under £1000

But think since he hasn't driven for ages he's a n00b again.

Will see what he says cause even if he has to spend another £200 for a new clutch £700 isnt bad.

And your Felly looks good.

stick around.

you don't have to be in a skoda to have skoda in you.

From an ex Fabia Vrs owner stick around- one if not the friendliest forums around.

Please stick around.

I emailed piccies to my former colleague

I just hope he has the sense to email me back at least.

For his price range and needs no other car would suit the purpose better unless he's after something a little larger.

But its up to him now.

I have never owned a Skoda and am really not that interested in them, but I seem to get along on here OK.
