Works exactly the same as factory fit item i.e same operation/functions etc...uses genuine Skoda/VAG parts and is even fitted by a genuine Skoda engineer.

Uses wiper stalk as per factory fit cars.......what am I saying......it IS the same equipment just not fitted at the factory.

Cheaper than having it fitted at factory though.

It uses the authentic VAG steering column stalk' date=' and plugs into the ECU. The ECU is already programmed from the factory with cruise control logic; it just has to be enabled with a suitable diagnostic tool like VAG-COM or a VAG 1552.

Kruise control on diesel Octavias is indistinguishable from the factory fit option; but the petrol ones are missing a short length of wiring harness from the multiplug on the bulkhead to the ECU. K has to fabricate a replacement from cat-5 networking cable. Dealers fitting cruise would probably have to do something similar.

Went to get in the car this afternoon after it had been parked in the sun all day and I swear it never had this gap above the airbag before?! Has something moved? Could someone take a pic of their airbag to compare? It’s the standard round wheel and not the facelift one. I’m away with work at the minute otherwise I would remove it and have a better look. Pushing it does nothing other than sound the horn! Has something fallen off or moved or have I just never noticed it before!

Well, hello to all, i'm finding myself in a bit of a pickle. I have a 2019 Skoda Karoq on a HP agreement where I pay around 285£ per month for 5 years. If I hand in my car tommorow, my settlement figure is 8600£. My car is a Karoq with SE-L trim level, 4x4, manual, 2.0 tdi with a flawless, VW and VW specialist service, with heated seats + steering wheel. I do, around 25.000 miles per year. History is that since the coilovers were done, the front-left top mount has aways creaked on turning; classic top mount sound of juddering movement. I've tried rotating the spring a little in case that's a difference but I need to do try some more just to make sure I haven't forgotten anything. In the meantime, the front right has developed a creak which is different. It's a heavier creaky rubber feel to it which is triggered on minor movement/weight shift. Going over speedbumps obviously makes

Hi all. On the run up to the midlands today about 160miles into the journey, noticed the EPC warning light on. I was on the motorway just cruising along in 6th gear. Didn't notice any change in engine performance or anything bad happening so kept going. When i got to folks place kept the engine running and had a look in the car menu. There were no alerts but there's a message about start stop error. I always (if i remember..) disable the start stop as it drives mad so i never use it a
