Skiing.. nahh... Snowboarding.. yeah! :D

It's been awhile but I wouldn't mind doing some snowboarding again.

They have a proper indoor slope (real snow) at Xscape near Castleford.

Oh and if you fall over on a dry slope... expect pain.. and lots of it :rofl:

Gloves are a must. Padding on your bum optional. I'd avoid learning to snowboard on a dry slope! And if you fall, fists clenched. Hands out, fingers splayed to break a fall might just result in broken fingers as well :rofl:

Aswell as above, one of the main injuries for snowboarding is broken wrists where you put your hands down first when you fall over, ouch!

Eurostar do snow trains that will take you close to some resorts and some of them even have a club/disco style theme to them to make the travelling go quicker :thumbup:

I've always fancied Andorra for the duty free side of things.
