Suspension Bushes

Featured Replies

I have just bought a Jamex coilover kit for my 03 VRS and I am intending on getting a Whiteline ARB at the same time.

Which suspension bushes should I replace at the same time? And are Powerflex the way to go?

Cheers

I'd certainly change the front and rear bushes on the front wishbone and while your at it the rear beam mount bushes too - ideal time as the shocks and springs will be out.

A (rear) dog-bone engine mount is another easy 10 minute job while your ordering all of these bits.

Well worth doing and very easy DIY but don't rule out doing the front bush too. It is a pig to do trying to get it into the dogbone took me about an hour of several failed attempts and a lot of cursing but it does realy improve the cars ability to put the power down when you have front and rear bushes changed :D
