Mate of mine has a mini Cooper, a non-S tiptronic. Can anyone recommend a removable tuning box for it?

Bas, they are petrol.

Errr, think they don't exist mate.

Something like a Blue-Fin is a switchable remap, but seems hardly worthwhile on an n/a petrol.

There is the Cooper D which uses the PSA 1.6 diesel unit, but I can't see any tuning boxes out for it as yet. The only ones I found were for the MINI One D (1.4).

I have a piggback box on the family GM Trailblazer - it's a NA petrol. Make a nice diff too..

Looks like proper chiptuning is the only possibility - with gains of about 12 bhp.....

Who says turbodiesels aren't cool, lol!!
