It does rub against one of the engine hoses but wouldn't have thought it would have made a noise...... I've wrapped the hose in question, it's easy to spot, in black electrical tape so it wears the tape down and not the hose.

***edit***

Just found this thread relating to the hose it rubs against.......

cheers for that mate i will have a look in the morning cheers again

instead of wrapping the offending hose with tape , it is just as easy to twist the hose around the thermostat housing , then you will no longer have the problem

I fitted a PD160 intake pipe and front flange and realising it would possibly rub against the engine pipe, I placed a thick washer (drivers side) between the front flange where it fastens with the 2 torque bolts to the rear of the front panel, this then points the PD160 intake pipe away from the engine so as not to catch.

Hope this helps.

Mr Mogwye.

I found the zip tie was a nice discrete method too.
