I have just changed my octavia vrs hatch for an estate but i have noticed that when i lock the car i dont get the chirp on alarm to confirm that i have locked it.

How do i turn this on?

Vagcom can enable this feature or your dealer should be able to do it for you.

If it is the original skoda alarm and your car is built after mid 06, than you should be able to change that in your multidot.

its a 56, how do i access the multidot?

Do you have Maxidot Display?

If you do then there should be instructions in the owners manual.

If you don't then you'll need to have it carried out with a Diagnostics computer.

how do you do it in maxidot? ive not seen this only the option for coming home lights ?!?!

Go to the section named ATA and sellect ON.
