Really wanted to get the opinions of Brisk members on which would be the better option for mostly fairly short road trips of less than an hour, with bumpy roads being common?

I have the Eibach spring setup on my Fabia vRS and love them (far less silly front drop on braking) and want to upgrade a tad more.

I may be going to Belgium on work in a month, so thought I might either get Koni FSD's or go the whole hog and get KW coilovers variant 2 (so that I can firm up the heavy vRS front just perfectly)...

Opinions/comments welcome

Cheers

Bas

varient 3 are much better

If you have Eibachs already and are happy, then the FSD dampers would make so much sense. Stiffer in the bends, but more compliant over bumps - they really are the best of both worlds.

I'm sure JKM will ship them out for you, if not then I'd happily package up a set of FSDs and send them out :)

Thing is that Variant 3 isn't an option for the Fabia vRS at the moment....

Please do keep the comments coming - Thanks!!

I think it will be hard to get a honest reply as I don't think anyone has ran both set ups.

I had KW's now on Jasons car and found them to be just what I wanted. No jolts and they loaded up in a nice progressive fashion when cornering and braking, so much so I took the 312mm brakes off as I was melting discs and went back to the 288's with FR pads.

This is a tough one, Id say KW all the way. the coilovers they make are so nice and the V2 Inox are the best you can get for the fabia

i can only comment on the kw's,we have the eibach springs on swmbo's swift and they are good, but my kw v1 set up are awesome, far more comfortable than any other coilover setup i have had,eg tien on my skyline they were proper hard,my car rides better than swmbo's,but that is probably down to differences in the cars,i think the spring and fsd setup are a kind of best of both worlds setup, but i cannot imagine they could perform like the kw's:thumbup:

I think it just depends how much of a sacrifice you are prepared to make in the hunt for more performance:D
