Which wheels?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am looking at changing the standard RS wheels for some 18 inch ones but I can't quite make up my mind which ones to go for?

The two wheels that I am looking at are:

1: OZ Superleggera

2: Radius R6

Which one do you think I should should go for?

Should have set-up a poll Lloyd.:D

Are the OZs similar to the Supertouring design?

Now these look good in the "big" sizes.

OZ!

Jon the Speedlines look OK not too sure about the other two. There is also another wheel that I like see attached jpeg, but I don't think its available in 18 inch. Jon you can go ahead with additions to the poll.

OK Speedline and Masitaly added to poll, re-allocated my vote as well :D

Hi Jon,

Not keen on the Radius wheels i'm afraid - just don't look right IMHO. What about something like the BK Racing 299 wheels? Look very similar to a BBS design which appeared on the anniversary edition Golf recently?

I saw a set of Fox Premier 6 17" alloys on a silver 1.9TDi Estate yesterday - they looked very nice indeed! Larkspeed's catalogue shows that they are available in 7.5 x 18". Worth considering IMH 4X4 O. :D

I particularly like 5 spoke alloys because less spokes = less problems cleaning. I can't remember exactly how many spokes my Senator's wheels had but there were lots and I do remember that they were a ****** to clean.
