AOL issues

Featured Replies

All of a sudden I have started having 'connectivity' problems.

Everything has been running sweet as till the last few day's

Situation is as follows;

1) I have Vista

2) I have AOL 9.0VR

3) I also have AOL 9.1 (auto update about 2 months ago)

For some reason as far as I can gather my computer (all of a sudden) seems to be getting confused between the 2 and either tries to fire up 9.0VR or 9.1...

Would the problem be sorted by getting rid of either 9.0VR or 9.1?

If so which one?

Please go easy as I know sweet FA about such technical issues :o

You should only really have one version. I am surprised that the old version was not removed as part of the autoupdate.

Well they're both still there...

Which one? Is 9.1 Vista friendly?

9.1 is vista friendly, but I've found that on my parents laptop, 9vr runs better.

AFAIK AOL leaves itself installed as when you select the AOL uninstall util it asks what version you want to uninstall.
