It's a Vauxhall Signum 3.2V6 Elite in bamboo green (very creative with names those designers at Vauhall) with full black leather interior and loads of 'dadsie' toys... A step down from the Octy, but a definate step up from the Espace :woohoo:

my brother had a Signum, and was impressed with it, lots of kit, plenty of go and well screwed together.

Looks nice.

i love these, and a nice v6 to boot,i take it your not crazy, and therefor got a great deal on a used

Looks nice, but the previous owner has left the fog lights on :)

Well done Q, hope my advice came in handy;)

Another beer I owe you

A good used bargain.

Aren't Signums one of the fastest depreciating new cars?

Sorry Q but I cant get excited over that I'm affraid :o

Nice looking machine, Dont fancy the running costs!

I imagine being just shy of 4 years old that it had lost around 80% of it's value when you came to buy it? :D

The one thing I think of about Signums is "deprecatiates pretty badly" - but then thats to the bonus of 4 y/o car buyers who get a bargain!

Hope it holds together.

Nice fog lights..

I quite like 'em, looks like a stretched Astra :)

Hope you enjoy it Q :drivesaf:

Steve

I demo'd one when I got my Focus, and hated it. Really wanted to like it as it was soooo cheap, but didn't work for me.

Saying that, it was a fairly basic 2.2 16v, I'm sure this is a completely different kettle of fish.

Enjoy it Q!

Seems I'm in the minority of quite liking them.

Whats its forte then? More leg room or bigger boot? Never actually had a look over one

As I understand it, they're designed as cars where rear passengers are the most important so you only get two seats in the rear, but they are proper separate seats and are reclinable, etc. There's also a cool box in the centre armrest/console on the more luxurious models too. Ideal for being whisked along a motorway. I did have a look through the Trader at them, but while they are cheap, they're not *that* cheap ... at least the diesels aren't.

Not sure if you remember but Clarkson reviewed one on TG a few series back where he tried to drive it from the rear seats using broom-handles, etc.

Chris

^ That was hilarious!

I quite like them!

One of Dad's friend's Son's has one with a full Irmscher (sp?) kit, and 20s!

Sounds like Mr and Mrs Q got the short straw then.Shoved in the front whilst the kids wallow in luxury in the back

"Driver, the cool box needs topping up with coke.See to it will you" :D
