I've just put a deposit down on a (used) Fabia 1.9 TDi Comfort and hope to collect it next weekend. Am i mad?

Well; short, fat, old git, ardent motorcyclist (BMW 1200GS currently), engineer by trade but currently work for Highways Agency as a Traffic Officer Team Manager on the M1, play guitar in a blues band (less often than I used to), trying now to sell a Xantia HDi to part-finance the Skoda. Live in the Midlands, but emanate from Durham originally. Married for thirty-three years (to the same burd) with a twenty-three-y-o daughter (no - deffo no pictures, before you ask - but she is gorgeous)

I'm just about to go to somewhere else on here to ask for advice on what mods to make to my new purchase. Chips? Suspenders? Brakes? It's all a mystery to me!
