If i had the surging i would be ordering the ecs race n75. I Know it has cured two members cars on this forum.

another (nice) feature is it seems to have improved my fuel economy a tad.. it feels more torquey under 2k too

Just a small update, had the pipes under the inlet manifold done today, & WOW it feel great again,:thumbup:

Supplier of N75j having a small supply problem so it won't be here untill end next week, so will post results of that mod when I get it.

Today i asked my loical skoda place if they had the n75j, he didnt know what i was on about neither did the mechs in the back, the pn on page 2 is no good neither.

does anyone have a vag pn for this item?

They don't sell em at Skoda you need an Audi dealer. This is a specific Audi part, the page 2 part number is correct try Audi.

Well it's finally arrived, & it's raining. :mad:

But wait, it's stopped, (rushes about collecting tools) goes out & fits new n75j,

finds out you need 3 new jubilee clips not 2 as told earlier.

&

It seems to have made some difference, no hiccups under mild to mid acceleration, & feels as if the boost comes in a fraction earlier & pulls more.

Also there is no hunting at idle now, so all in all I would say it was well worth getting.:D:D

Looking forward to going on a decent run, to give it a real test.

NB since having the boost pipe replaced (as described earlier on) the fuel consumption has improved greatly :thumbup: which is very welcome in the present climate.:cool:
