Hi guys, getting back the 1st wheel today from the sprayer! Im getting them done 1 at a time as its getting done by a mate who is a paint shop foreman!

He should be here in about half an hour dropping the wheel off so i will post a pick asap!

Im very excited! He said everyone at the shop was w4nking over it! (not literally i hope!)

Ebay mate! German company, think it was £50 delivered!

I told him i wanted them darker but dont know what they will look like! I trust his work so we'l have to weight and see! They were standar silver and very much curbed before!

Hopefully he will be using the same mixed paint for all the wheels otherwise you could end up with 4 different shades.

No its the same paint for all 4 wheels Im uploading a photo now, its abit dark tho, il take another one tomorrow morning.

Sorry its dark. Il take a better one in the morning with some tyre dressing on them, they look soooooo lush!!

Thats right, my cars looks like a right mash at the moment! I got the new painted one and a black steel on one side and standard silver on the other side!

He dropping off the 2nd wheel tonight so i should have 2 side that match then (not to each other tho!)

I cant complain tho as he is charging me £100 to refurb and respray 4 alloys! Hes done a cracking job as well, 2 coats of lacour, even on the backs!

Next im having my bonnet refurbed (£50!) and the door handles and side strips colour coded (£50!)

Im a very happy bunny! Il be happier on tuesday when all the alloys will be done!

They do look nice, and with my TT alloys now on my car I've got a spare set of standard alloys just sitting in the garage

However, got a little worry, god forbid you curb one of your wheels, but if you do won't it look worse than on a normal coloured alloy, silver mark on a black wheel. Guess you'd have to just touch it up with some black paint.

Wont be curbing these mate, il drive in the middle of the road where ever i go! Also there not black, they are the megane cup alloy colour:thumbup:

He started that wheel at 9 and finished it by 12.30. Thats was just the one wheel tho as im having them done one at a time. He's charging me £100 to do all 4 wheels! Buts thats mates rates, normally he said it would have benn £400 with that paint so im getting a bargain!
