I sooooooo don't believe that one. I don't know if the reporter has been misled or is simply missing something important, but as reported that simple isn't possible.

I like the way it can be assisted by a fuel burner. We have those already and they are called petrol and diesel engines.

Hydrogen fuel cells are the way to go.

What about the energy required to compress the air in the first place?
