SKODA'S !! FOR SOME PEOPLE THEY ARE STILL A PROBLEM!!!!!!!!

Thats my normal response too but you got to be careful, think it was Mater who posted on here last week and the car turned out to be a copper

Made me think twice about gunning it in that situation.

Always depends on what mood I'm in, sometimes just pull over :) and other times it is WAR:mad:

i never react,no one will make me drive how i do not wish to drive, then again i drive like a nob all the time:D

happens all the time...

i was along the A66 last week, roof sign on and all, so driving by the book, as per the driving manual... no speed limits broken ect ect , i overtook a white transit van that was travelling at approx 45 mph, just so I could make "reasonable progress" as I had a pupil to meet for a lesson..... i stayed at 60 mph, and then came up behind two lorries, that were impossible to pass safely within the speed limits, and said van comes up behind me gesticulating, flasing his lights ect ect ...

the world is full of n@b heads... just ignore them, and don't let them ruin your day.... if he would have given me £20 for an hour , i could have explained to him, that i had done nothing wrong, and that flashing of headlights should be used to warn other people of your prescence, and clearly I HAD seen him! but I'm not gonna waste my time on an ignorant fool... just let him go home, beat his wife, buy some drugs, get on with whatever life he chooses that makes him suh a di@k......

*rant over.....

edit: so, i don't think its just a skoda thing, this guy was ****ed of, because I was in a driving school car! some people are just idiots, best not to "engage" them... talking to some of my pupils, it may one day be one of the "psycho's" that keeps a gun, or a baseball bat in their carm just incase someone shows them "disrespect"..... our country is going to the dogs...... speed cameras wont stop this problem, we need more traffic police on the roads......

Totally agree mate:thumbup:

In my town they see iam a Taxi and always try to give me hassle on the roads.

in my town the tourists make it really busy in the 'on' seasons, and me and our local taxi firm have a cool relationship, everytime there's one of them waiting to get out of a conjested jusnction i let them go, and everytime I'm waiting at a junction blocked by a hundred tourists, they let me out in return

There the 105bhp if it was just a small tdi badge and not a 2.0tdi which are 140bhp.

The 105's are crap! Never a match for a VRS! People just dont realise what the VRS's can do.

People just dont realise what the VRS's can do.

They do afterwards :P

This is a sort of follow on from Sharkrider. We've a 1.4TDI and an SDI. Last year when my wife learned to drive with a driving school I put P plates on the TDI until she was confident and had a bit of experience. I had to drive the car now and again and was quite shocked at the way I was treated on the road. With the P plates on (and driving just as I do normally) I was tail-gated again and again for no reason except to intimidate. To be fair, there were a lot of people who gave extra room and were courteous, but if I'd just learned to drive then a 20 tonne lorry 3" from my bumper is not going to do a lot for my confidence. Is there a point to this rant? Well yes, I would not I'd advise anyone to use P plates and might suggest that they would be better off without them.
