Baker21's Superb........beading Baby!!!

Featured Replies

Slighty boring for some people I guess and maybe I need to get out more but as I didn't have a car booked in this weekend to 'Detail' I gave the Superb another going over with the UDM and then applied a coat of Collinite 845.

This lunchtime I have just applied an extra coat of P21s Concours Wax and would you believe it, it's just rained here so I have taken some beading pics that I thought I would share with you guys:

Thanks mate and ofcourse I will wax your car...........for a price.........:rofl:

The Collinite should still be giving beading like that in a few months time - good choice

Yeah love the stuff but thought I would just try and mix it up a little with some P21s on top of the Collinite..............reckon I will give the Jetseal 109 a go when it arrives........

do you see any benefit using the P21s on top of the collinite? I just used 2 layers of collinite 476 last time I waxed my car but was thinking of trying something different next month when it gets a proper clean.

I have used the Collinite on my car many times but never put another wax on top of it so I thought I would see what the combinattion is like...............used the P21s on customer's cars a few times and I have been happy with how easy it is to work with.........should give pretty good protection and I guess more coats of wax the better.........:D

You've got a lot to answer for Baker21!! :)

Just spent 2 hours washing with Megs NXT, clay bar with Megs Quick Clay & then waxing with Collinte No 476S.

My arm aches now!!

Did he say wax? :rofl::rofl:

Nice job mate as usual.

Wish i was closer to you my car looks 10 years old now and its only an 06:(

Looks cracking, as ever Mr Baker :D:cool:

I put some Victoria Concourse over my two coats of 476 and I'm still really pleased with it.

Think I'll stick with this method from now on - two coats of tough 476 for protection and durability, and in addition something a bit less durable on top, but with a higher carnuba content that will add some depth and gloss.

Sounds like a winner..........I am thinking of buying some 476 for customer's cars but just need to use up what I already have in stock, so to speak........assume that 476 works well on dark colours then?

Oooh, looking forward to my detail - hoping for similar results Sir Baker ;)

Good work
