Insurance! Well Chuffed!!!!

Hi all, i thought i'd write a post regarding the insurance quote i've just managed to get on my new Octavia vRS (picking it up this wed, can't wait).

Hed been with Admiral for a few years as they were the cheapest on my Mondeo ST24 99/V silver saloon at a few quid over £400 fully comp with missus on it etc but they couldn't get near to the quote that More Th>n gave me!!

Bearing in mind the Mondeo is worth just over £2,000 they quoted me £312 for the vRS at £17,000!!!! That's fully comp with protected NCB aditional driver (missus) & only £150 total excess!!!

Thought i'd let you guys/gals know as in my experience insurance companies categorize all makes/models not only by performance/value/driver details but also on how many claims they've had to fork out for regarding that particular model!

A quote as low as that suggests to me that either they don't have many vRS owners on their policies and/or the ones they do have not made many claims!

As i say, anything to save a few quid gets my vote & it may just save you some money to get a quote from them!
