Skoda MFD 2008 Uk Map update

Featured Replies

Does anyone know where I can get a 2008 map for my MFD SatNav (DX)?

It came with a 2004/5 map and I would like to update it.

Thanks.

Here you go.

Blaupunkt sat nav disc

These are the nav disks for the MFD2, it uses the same system as blaupunkt.

Thanks very much for that! However no one has a naughty copy?

It's not the sort of thing we encourage here.

Encourage what exactly? I have been quoted over £100 for an updated map, I have recently bought a SatNav for £89 (for my van) with full European maps including the UK. It also comes with speed camera locations (maybe thats too naughty too!) I am just asking if anyone can give me an alternative to paying through the nose for something that is essentially instantly worthless!!

Incidentally Ebay is looking my best bet.

Briskoda does not encourage illicit trade in copyrighted goods, be it porate dvds, cds or sat nav discs, no matter how too expensive they may be.

Hence a no no to wanting a naughty copy

Without wishing to get into a rights and wrongs situation here I will try to give you the line which is applicable to Briskoda.

Your post above intimated that you might be looking for software that was 'naughty'. This might indicate that you mean Counterfeit. Whilst I can appreciate that you feel the price of a new disk is a little excessive I'm afraid that is the price the developer has set.

Briskoda cannot condone the sharing or trading of such items for reasons which I am sure I don't have to spell out.

What you do thereafter is largely your own concern.

Sorry! Hope I have not caused offence. Thanks again to everyone who helped me getting it up a running.

This can be closed now I think.
