H&R are very good springs

ha ha yeah mate had a quick gander but have the chance of getting some at a good price and just wondered if they were any good. would the ride be stiffer compared to eibach and also will the sumpy guard be in trouble i have 17 inch rims on cheers

Personally, I'd hold out for Eibachs.

I've not had the Eibachs on my own car but I've had a few other springs from cheap and cheerful to other premium "as good as Eibach" brands and they've all been much of a muchness.

A friend had Eibachs on his Calibra and it was such a transformation with the car sitting nicely and still being comfortable at all speeds without the "bounce" you get on motorways at high speed. With cheaper springs I found once I got into a slight dip in the road, the car would follow the dip and then once out it would continue to bounce for a bit.

Remember though, with all aftermarket springs you're probably going to be replacing tired old springs with over 40k on them with fresh new ones so the first few miles as they settle, all springs are going to feel a bit better. I just felt the Eibachs didn't fatigue as much as the ones on my Corsa.

I brought Eibach because of both Jabbas recommendations and alot of Briskodians - I do however know a chap at work with a Furby vRS and he has the H&R's we have both compared there does not appear to be anything in it. The H&R's are still very smooth and to be honest seem no different at all from my Eibachs. Infact I would actually slightly prefer the H&R's as his car looks a tad lower.

Either way from my experience there is nothing in it. When I was looking at prices they where both priced very similiar. The H&R's where a tad cheaper.

126 delivered mate from motorsportworld last time i looked they are around this now on ebay??? great new for the seller though
