Hi

My Octy has KW Variant 3 fitted which is fully adjustable, i bought the car with them on but after driving one with standard suspension these are the mutts nuts

Give Gerry (Beretta) a shout too Jay - he runs V3s.

I can only give you my wholehearted support on this decision. Would look great with some different wheels  :P

I now understand when people tell you to get the car setup first before a remap as after my KW3's were fitted it was like a different car

You can have the power down much quicker in and out of a corner and you just stick to the road like you know what

Yes the ride it a little harder but as other will say it's a compromise!

Mine is still fine of road humps and that's what I was worried about.

Yes the kit is a lot of money but it's worth every penny if you like to drive your car :D

Had KW2 & KW3, The 2's are built using parts from Koni, the 3's are KW's own mwnufacture & are definately worth the extra.

Another plus with the 3's is that when they get tired KW will rebuild them, Ok you are without the car for a few weeks as they have to go back to Germany but at £45 a corner its worth it.

They will as others have said really transform the car & give you a well sorted road car.

KW v3's here as well. If I had to buy another set of coilovers, KW are the only company that would get my money

KW variant 3's here to. Very impressive although not straight out the box!

Ok so I got the V3's and checked the setup, Valves in the middle possition as described in the manual - this is your basic starting setup that KW claim to work well. Went to the Nurburgring and the car control was excellent until it rained. The car was sliding all over the place, had several very nearly brown stain moments .

Got the car back home and after several weeks got that anoyed with the ride quality I got my Alan keys out and softened all the valves. WOW, the amount of grip doubled and ride was more than exceptable yet still firm. In my opinon they are set WAY to hard as standard and need a few clicks softer setting. This increases comfort AND grip.

Well worth the money just wish I'd had a play with the valves ealier. I almost binned the things!

Fezboy had the same thoughts, so he came round to my place and we set them up as they should be, and the smile on his face was worth all the effort.................LOL

I have KW3's on my Octy vRs and cannot fault them, especially with a Neuspeed 28mm rear ARB and S3 upper and lower braces.

Powerflex bushes also help quite a bit.
