swap MFD2 (nexus) satnav for Audience?

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

So i recently acquired my 2.0Tdi Octy Elegance with the colour satnav (cd-rom) and maxi-dot dash thingy. From my research on here this appears to be the 'nexus' model? Considering i don't really use Satnav i'm considering swapping this out for an Audience with the built-in MP3 cd-changer.

Just wanted to confirm if this is going to be a straight swap and if i need to do anything extra to use the steering wheel controls and get the parking sensors to display on the audience.

cheers muchly!

The Surround Will Need Replacing As The "hole" Is Smaller.after Install The Car Will Need To Know What Equipment Is Installed.

This Can Be Done With Vag-com.i Have 2 Week Old Audience 6 Disc Which May Swop.also Have Vag-com.

Surely you could swap fascia too if you both have the same A/C.

ooh yeh i have dual zone climate what do you have? hmm there's an MFD2 on ebay for 399 how much is the audience worth? also what do we need to on VAG com?

Skoda Audience Part No AA0600013 £670.00 from Skoda

See:?koda Accessories

I doubt very much if you will find one on ebay or such like as the unit is so new!

The VAG-com will be needed if you or I change units otherwise the ECU in the car will not recognise the other unit.

I live in Maidstone Kent

Where are you?

If you are interested in swapping I will set up your car with VAG-com:thumbup::thumbdwn:

I also have dual zone so the surrounds can just be swopped over (black)

Jobs a good un!!

I now have MFD2

Only one slight problem is that the sound quality was much better from the Audience HU

Enjoy it JazzyDSG!!!!!
