'Twas said in jest, I assure you.

Gilly wouldn't dare upset me......;)

That looks like one truly nice motor.......

No experience of the Mazda - but I have only read good things...

The MG - had experience of, and not a single issue (apart form them going bust), as you stated Mr G a well balanced motor... I loved em'.. on a par with my old beloved highly modified 1979 MGB GT..

At the end of the day you don't miss what you've never had.... Plus the MG badge has a bit of, stiff upper lip, tally-ho, chock's away - old bean type of history behind it.......

I must agree, the idea of buying an MG and 'making ' it my own somehow appeals....

I admit, I haven't driven it yet, but is is cheap.....

( my head says run away, but.....)

**** it, what's the point in buying any decent car these day's it costs so much... you do it because you love cars...

When I got me X-Type Jag, people said "why?", save the cash, just get a Mondy... the thing was ever time I opened the bonnet there was this this nice badge which said "Jaguar- Coventry, England", made me feel all "Land of Hope and Glory"

Get the MG, get a picknick hamper and give it some "Bolly and potted shrimps" whilst touring the Dales this Summer... "Eh What" :holmes:
