steering wheel offset after bearing replaced

Featured Replies

I've just had a front wheel bearing replaced by my local dealer. The steering wheel is now down to the right, by about 15 degrees.

Is this just coincidence? or has the garage had to undo something with the steering to replace the wheel bearing? I could do with some advice before I take it back and show them.

thanks again.

It is possible that they checked the tracking afterwards and found that it was out and adjusted it, which put the steering wheel off centre.

Tracking will more than likely be off after doing a wheel bearing so just get it tracked:)
