vRS has gotta go...

Featured Replies

I bought it on Dec 8th, with 39k miles. it had its service the same week, and since then its now showing its due another one in 700 miles.

I'm putting too many miles on it!

What do you guys think its worth? gonna get a tdi Octy and a Skyline :)

the perfect couple:thumbup:

nice diesel octy to drive about in,and a skyline for the sunny weekends, you get a serious amount of skyline for your money at the moment too:thumbup:

Sadly i don't think the octy is gonna be worth alot with the uncertainty about the economy.

Do you have any idea what you will get for it px/private?

Skyline & TDi :cool::D

no idea at all. i got it cheap considering its mileage.

Im gonna service it, re do the wheels and then stick it up forsale

Furby VRS, and a Ocy TDI.

whats the milage on your octi now? my old vrs went about 18,000 miles between services. or you could create a mk1 vrsd, mines nearly done

like mine will be once the front bumpers done

he he he, I need front bumper and more supportive seats, then I might class mine as done until I get the urge to up the power more. need to change insurance companies also, cant make more than 6 mods on this policy :(

Mike,

I may be selling mine if you're keen ;)

How can you sell an Octy vRS for financial reasons... and then buy a Skyline?

I was kinda thinking the same Phil but didn't like to mention it.

I reckon he just wanted some kick Ar5e power

Maybe the financial reason is...

Mike has too much cash ! :D

Must have if he wants a money pit cosworth

FWD getting to you Mike? :)

Much as I really like the car, the gayness that is fwd is starting to jade the pleasure a bit now, but at present the praticality and other qualities are managing to overcome that still :D .

Cossie is still king for the money IMO, but the reality is they are just so old now and not practical to run for everyday use.. had mine 7 years and 25000 miles and it never caused me bother at all.

Where did I say it was for financial reasons? ;)

I just dont want to ruin the car! I wasnt expecting to be doing over 30k miles a year in it.

I am only wanting to sell it now for the best money I can get so that I can put a few quid into a faster car ;)

LOL - fwd isnt the best way to make progress imo. If the engine layout was better (like the Passat) then I'd keep it, as fttinga larger turbo would be easier.

The car is soo practical as well, which is why I'd maybe look for one with more miles on but a fair bit cheaper lol.

Cossies do rule, but like you say, they're alot of money right now, too much for me to spend on an old Sierra LOL
