Hi, I have just joined this forum as I need to get an unbiased answer, I hope someone can help. I have an Octavia 1.9 Elegance TDi Estate which is due for a service at 77,000 mls. I have been told by the Skoda agent who will do the service that I need to have a new toothed belt for the camshaft now, at a cost of £400. But my service schedule booklet tells me in has to be done at 100,000mls for the 4 cylinder diesels. Who is right??:confused:
