Wheels?!

Featured Replies

I have a 2004 Octavia VRS in black. Was just wondering what wheels etc.. others have gone for? I am toying with either having the standards done in matte black or going for new wheels maybe O.Z. superleggra's?

Any pics / thoughts would be great. I did have a quick search of past threads and found some LCR rims on a VRS which looked pretty good.

Also, just to add to the list,

Has anyone de-badged the rear boot of their VRS? If so any pics as the SKODA circle badge is looking a bit taty, might get rid of the VRS badge as well?

I went with Audi A8 replica wheels on my Octy and i havent totally debadged the rear just removed the Octavia part.

When i bought my VRS it came debadged (well more covered over) there are 2 caps covering them and painted with the black magic paint....it looks decent but will look better with the chrome grill painted black too:thumbup:

If the grill painted black makes it look awkward with the caps i would prob go for full debadge.

R32 alloys would look saucy me thinks, always wanted to do that myself.

There's a guy on the NZ forum with an R32 who keeps threatening to change his wheels. Tempting....

Very poor cut 'n' paste job:

Rob, you need to 'persuade' the guy with the R32 make his mind up and sell the wheels.. to you. Very nice!

iv got the new r32 wheels on

i think they look good.

R32's look very nice actually hadn't thought of them. Does anyone know if the badges are just glued on? Was also toying with removing side rub strips but not sure how they are fixed. Cant decide if it would look any good?

rear octavia and vrs badges will come off with heat and some fishing gut sawing behind.

Central skoda badge will leave 2 pinholes where the locating lugs sit.

that looks good.

i personally dont like the black wheels on a black car but i love the hight of the front susp. the rear is bit too low for me too. lol

i love the look of the spoiler though.

see i want my front to be similar hight to urs pos bit higher and the rtear to be standard hight pos only a small ammount lower. and the spoiler is jus what i want

jus gotta talk the missis round.

lol

Was also toying with removing side rub strips but not sure how they are fixed.

The door rub strips are only fitted on with double sided sticky tape:thumbup:.

hmmmm im now thinking about removing mine now

I really like the black. Are they a gloss finish? I think I might go for a matte finish?

maybe O.Z. superleggra's?

Good choice. A guy on here posted a pic of his black vRS with 18" supperleggera's, looked blooming great but I can't find the picture now :(

I still like the RS4's. Not everyones taste ........

see now I love them. I got some exactly the same a bit back. When I put them on they looked small coz of the thick outer rim so i sold them and kept the R32 ones.

I reacon they will look better in 19"????

Still in the pics they do look stunnin mate.

liking the RS4's

OT

Rob have you removed the central bits on the vents on the front bumper? not the fabia vents but the ones on the sides at the front?

If you mean the front left and right ones then Rob has the Milotec ones like I have, unless Rob states otherwise.

These come as a kit with the centre Vent also.
