I Praise thy SeatSurgeons!!!

Featured Replies

Hello all!

Finally have some free time to myself (Well, I’m in work and the boss is away, so what the hell :P) So decided to write about my experience with SeatSurgeons!

I was booked on Tuesday just gone at half 8, as I was driving down to York anyway SWMBO decided to tag along and we decided to make a day of it. I live in Newcastle so the drive is just over an hour so decided to leave at 7 to give me plenty of time to get lost etc.

So I left my house at 20 to 7 and went round to pick SWMBO up, obviously as per she wasn’t ready lol, so left hers at 10 past 7 and already I was behind schedule , on top of that I think every single Lorry driver on the A1 that morning was determined to be in the right hand lane going 50mph , which I wasn’t happy about :P.

Anyway on the drive down I was doing my best to look out for some other vRS’s but I didn’t see any I don’t think? Got to York for about 20 past 8 and then found SeatSurgeons no bother by half past, booked the car in, met up with Paul (Extremely nice fella and his Range Rover’s LOVELY, lol )

Paul talked me through the process and then asked if we’d like to be dropped off into York TC, on the way (Saw Harry’s car too, nice Octavia Harry, love the exhausts!) he gave us a run-down of York’s attractions and recommended some places to eat – even dropping us off outside an all you can eat Chinese buffet place – which wasn’t open but no biggie :o

I won’t bore you with our day out in York but Paultold me the car should be ready for 2ish, at 10 to 12 I received a call stating my car was ready for pickup when I wanted to, so had a meal then picked the car up at about half 1, 2ish and all I can say is WOW!

I decided to opt for the black leather with grey inserts/stitching and it just goes with the car fantastically! I’m in love with that gorgeous leather smell every time I get into my car now :P, SeatSurgeons have done an absolutely fantastic job and the Customer care and attention you receive is second to none! I couldn’t recommend them enough! Also recently got my back windows tinted as well, so I’m in love with my car all over again!

If anyone else is getting a bit fed up with their Furby, I highly suggest getting the interior kitted out, it’s renewed my faith!

P.S I have pics of the finished product but:

A) I’m at work and can’t get to them right now and,

B) Can’t figure out how to get these stupid pics onto the forum :-p (If anyone can help with this bit I’d greatly appreciate it, hint hint, wink wink :P)

Hi-jacking my own thread lol, but didn't want to create a new one:

I've heard in another thread that the Mk5 Golf Gti alloys won't fit a vRS because of some issues, what I was wondering was if the Polo Gti alloys (Which are the same but 16" instead) would fit on fine?

I just really want these alloys on the car :o

Polo GTI will fit IIRC but yea the MK5 wont as the pcd is 5x112 not 5x100 as the octy/fabia is

I couldnt agree more with Iansthename, SeatSurgeons really are the business they really as good as he says and more!:)

He is also correct by saying you fall in love with your furby all over again:thumbup: So if you have some spare cash go for leather it transforms the car totally.

I read all this and theres no pictures :thumbdwn: ;)

Like to get my 'brown' seats retrimmed, but should really be saving...

Is there still a Brisky discount for seat surgeons?

Mind if I ask how much it cost?

Mind if I ask how much it cost?

You can paid £795 plus VAT or nod nod ;) ;)

Worth every penny:thumbup:
