New Passat learning from Superb?

Just been browsing Google and found these pics of the new Passat.

Unless that's a wide angled lense, that Passat looks like it's grown to Superb proportions!

Apologies if you've seen these before.

It looks wierd! 2nd pic looks definatly out of proportion.

I just got it off Google images, so I don't know the story attached to the images. I was looking for a picture of the "Passat Plus", which I'd heard was a stretched Passat for China, which was what the Superb was based on. Allegedly. ;):D

See the new Bora as well, getting the 2.0T FSI late 2005, and the 3.2 V6 too, all with 6-speed boxes... Same for the new Octavia?

Looks like a cross between the Phaeton and Mondeo. :eek:

Don't look anything like the first pics - only real similarity is the Superb type mid-section.

now that I like!!!! Is the first one not likey to be a Bora?????
