Servicing in Southampton Area

Featured Replies

Anyone recommend anyone in the Southampton area for servicing 1.8T Octy?

Main stealers in Southampton and Winchester - Any dealings?

Heard there's a place in Chandlers ford - Independent car sales & servicing Limited - They any good?

Any others??

I've used the Southampton and the Winchester main dealers and I'd probably look to find an independent specialist if I were to do it again. JKM Performance in Pompey is not too far away and seems to get good write ups on here (they have a partners section on the forum).

Meadens in sway are good and in my experience cheaper than some of the "VAG Specialists" in the area.

Also excellent are Monks Auto Mechanics up near chandlers ford. Proof of this is that there is no advertising done, they are in an old farm building in the middle of nowhere and still busy.

Monks Auto Mechanical Services

For main Dealers Ive found Winchester to be excellent

If you go the Indy route another vote for JKM

There are cheaper but IMO you get what you pay for

Another thumbs up for Monks Autos. I have taken my Octy Vrs Mk 1 there a few times. Also had my Cambelt + pump done by them. Really helpful and very reasonable prices.

Just don't go to the main stealers in Fareham. Not had good dealings with them.

If you want a main dealer and don't mind a journey then Chichester is very good.

As already said before Meadens of Sway.Absolute great garage and 100% satisfaction.Highly recommended:thumbup:

Did this not close or has it moved?

Thumbs up for that (if its still there and Winchester )

It's re-opened.

Good to know, had the known issue with the front rollbar sorted there (under warranty). Impressed but then I wasn't payin.

JKM in Portsmouth.

Williams Street in northam (Southampton) have always done a great job on my cars.
