As the previous poster has stated, you can retain your callipers if you have 288mm ATE brakes so only need to correct carriers.

Well two years have gone since I posted the thread and I thought I'd give a little update on how things have gone as I found the thread to give another chap some info.

Mileage has been quite high, but there is still some life left in the pads and discs.

Stopping power is still very good and I have to say for the price I really can't complain about the pads. Excellent even in the winter.

I'll probably need to change in the next year, so have been looking around at pad options (see other threads) however I've covered over 50k miles on the pads. This includes a few trips to certain German roads, so it's certainly nothing to be knocked.
