New wheels, what do you think???

Featured Replies

Well got some new wheels off my mate the other day for £150, 2 new tyres :)

I personally thourght they looked pretty nice, any other views

Could do with lowering it now, same bloke also offered me his lowering kit which was on his mk4 golf 1.6, will fit straight on but was told on here that the springs will be wound differently which could lead to dangerous handling.

thanks

nice wheels mate -really suited to the car:thumbup::thumbup:

thats wierd cause it sits alot lower then my 110 tdi with 18"s, looks good i think but yeah needs lowering still just like mine

i do beleive that if you used golf lowering kit it would not be nice to drive mate.

something to do wi the weight of the rear ends. as the octy is bigger.

wheels do look good though.

Lovely wheels, needs a little drop.

Think you got a bargain there mate.

I agree, nice wheels and slightly lowered would finish it orff :)

Nice!

V nice

Yep, they look good - pretty nice price too!!

Just need to lower it slightly to complete the look ;)

Looks good. Suits the car.

yep, was looking on ebay at the lowering kits, i thourght the 40mm dropping kit might be a good one, would finish looks but not be stupidly low, as roads around where i live are much to be desired lol.

Also forgot to mention the handling, is much better since i put those wheels on, orignals were 205/55, these are 225/40. Also more comfortable, however that works :)

Looks good!
