2x New Octavia spotted on test in Wales

Featured Replies

Last weekend whilst on a camping trip to wales, I spotted these two new german registered octys on test along with 2 bentleys. They had clipboards with test routes and review comments on the seats inside. Looked nice!

I have more pics if anyone is interested.

German registered and Right Hand Drive. Very interesting.

 @ the tyre pressures painted on the wheelarches!

Test cars from Bentley.

Brother has seen them in the factory along with a estate version. They will be audited by there quality department.

Bentley very often get VAG group cars ahead of time - they have previously brought the VW phaeton & new A8 to us for a look see - months before release.

One of our customers works in the product development side at Bentley and feeds us a fair bit of info..... which usually turns out to be true :D

Hmm. I wonder how crammed in stuff is in the engine bay. With the fixed wings coming round to the top, it minimises access when you pop the lid. I'd hate to think how easily you can scratch the paintwork in that area :(

A few more pics of the same octys from a different camera.

It'll be interesting to see what they do to make the vRS more agressive looking, think it will need a modified front end - a la Furby vRS.

Those (excellent) pictures further highlight what a poxy colour they chose for the motorshow. It was new apparently, told to me by one of the guys from Skoda with a roll of his eyes :o

Not so sure I like the New Tavia's front fog lights. Prone to stones and, just like the Furby vRS, cracked and broken lenses will be a common sight.

Looks like it's got front as well as rear parking sensors as well.

Nice pictures, Duncan.
