Dent in rear door!

Featured Replies

Just noticed a very slight dent in my rear door. I've no idea when it could of happened - I cleaned it on Sunday and it's barely been out of the garage since then. I'm sure I would have noticed.

Anyway, gave these folks a ring Dent Devils - Enter Site so hopefully I'll get it removed in the next day or so, at a cost of £75.

Anyone used them before or have experience of dent removal?

The dent is a tiny little crease less than a cm in length and you can only see it from certain angles.

£75 for a dent you can hardly see? You must love that vrs!

I know the dent it there no matter how small.

I could do without spending £75 on somethin like this but it's no big deal really.

TBH I'd get it fixed too. :)

Just annoying. My third new car and the first ever dent.

Gave up trying to keep cars free from dents and scratches a few years ago. I would just get one fixed and another one would appear. Rear door on my Octy was dented within a month of buying it. Maybe you can give me some tips on keeping the bodywork in A1 condition, I must be doing something wong?!:)

I can give you a tip, don't park next to people in car parks, always try to find a spot on its own. Lazy shoppers tend to use the spaces closest to the door. :)

Me too, James, but isn't it galling when you park well away from everybody else in an otherwise empty car park, only to find when you return to the same empty car park with a car parked so close to yours that you have to get into the passenger side!!

I havent used Dent Devil but used a similar company some years ago on an old car and they were brilliant. Ive heard good things about dent devils, I think a lot of the trade use them.

I hate car parks....GRRRRR

If there was someone else in your area that also wanted one removed would they do a deal? (just an idea as I guy in Eire did similiar for me and another guy)

I've used Dent Magician and it only cost £49 but that was a few years ago. Result was good. I think it depends on condition of paint.

Also some panels easier than others. Mine was fns door on Primera and they had to drill a hole in inside metalwork, to pass a tool in. Hole was then sealed with small rubber plug.

Many dents done from outside by suction though so no drilling.

My mate has used Dent Devil with his MG, he is very fussy with his car, and he is always happy with the results.

The roads I drive on, I find the mud tends to cover up the small dents
