I have an XP Pro system too and it's totally stable.

However i built my own, and didn't leave it to an "expert" :rofl:

Mine is also totally stable - never had a crash - laptop is on 24/7 nowadays since it won't standby any more ... often up for a month or more before there's any reason for a reboot.

Making a machine crash is an art in itself. Currently I have an E-mac sitting in a box behind me waiting to go back to Apple as I managed to get it to crash and die within 15 minutes of taking it out of the box... :rofl:

And Apples are supposed to be idiotproof!

cannot speak for XP but 2k is rock solid, i don't think its ever crashed and needed a restart, task manager always sorts out any offending applications.
