I think the 4x4 comes with the standard elegance interior although you still get a bling gear stick but instead of vrs it says 4x4.

so am I right in thinking, the only difference between the 4x4 and VRS is software? regarding the brakes Ive noticed that on my 4x4 they aren't very strong, and thats with new disks and pads on the last MOT. how difficult is it to change over to vrs disks?

engine wise yes but the 4x4 has shorter gearing also. the only difference betweent eh brakes on the two is the discs are bigger so if you want bigger brakes on your 4x4 simply buy the 312mm discs and carriers and hey presto bigger brakes

even better if you do this when you need new discs anyway, an almost free brake upgrade
