One word of warning.....

Rear headroom is extremely poor - as I found out to my cost when my mate took a level crossing at speed - my head was banging for hours afterwards!

Doesn't do it for me.. the only 'muscle' car i have a thing for is the cobra..

No contest!!! :drool::thumbup:

There is a garage who imports them in Aylesford, Kent....................:P;) ( 2 mins drive away.......................................:D )

And you still have an Oct'y

We holidayed in Florida in February and I was amazed by how many 'stangs there were on the roads out there.

It's hard to believe that Ford can be in serious financial dodos when they seem to be shifting so many of those, unless of course there selling them at a loss or the warranty claims wipe out any profit!

The GT500 versions do look smart and sound pretty good too.

As this is the Ford Mustang thread I thought I would dig out some photos.

Apologies if you didn't want to see them.

Well, last year Ford had a deal running in the US, zero down, 10 years to repay and 3 years free servicing at an authorised ford dealer.

My mate John lives in Oceola county and he has done just that and thrown the entire roush catalogue at it. He did after just finishing the payments on his Bronco which was again on some eternal finance with low rates etc, he's still got the bronco for his detailing business

The 'murcan's are very brand loyal when it comes to car's even though previous stangs of the 80's and 90's have been real sheeters :)

Just found were the one I saw in Belfast came from

Star Car Hire - TV, Movie & Specialist Vehicle Hire. Star Car Hire hosts a famous fleet of replica TV and Movie vehicles for promotional opportunities, television & film work, corporate conferences, shopping centre exhibitions, static displays, theme

What a top idea, I feel a "unique" 40th pressie for the Mrs coming on as they have a "General Lee" in Manchester, WOW, they got the A-Team van as well :) woohoo

Yep.. just about sums up mustangs!

What you mean they even look good with partridge in a pic?

 I love the mustangs. Even though I no they don't handle well, I just don't care. They just look so imposing.

This thread is making me wish I had booked one for our holiday next month:(

This could be one of my favourite cars of all time.

I like it! Love the stripes too.

Come on Rob, you *need* a V8 :D

Tell me about it! I keep trying to persuade SWMBO that a 6.0 V8 Commodore would make an excellent first car when she starts learning to drive!!

And you still have an Oct'y

If the combined MPG is 30 plus, then I'm interested..............(So is Mrs Stig..................)
