Mitsubishi Warrior

Anyone else find the Mitsubishi Warrior 'Animal' sexy?

Keep seeing them around, along with the new Hi-Lux (in Toyota F1/Motorsport livery - Park Street/Frogmore dealer).

i loved the mk1 L200 in warrior trim, bet its great fun and it looks the nuts :D

:iagree:

Mk1, yes - looks good and purposeful

Mk2, no - looks wonky and curvy. Which isn't acceptable for a pickup!

Steve

Yes.

So much nicer than the Ford Ranger I have to put up with :(

mk2 looks horrid :(

Wouldn't mind one of these...

There is something very manly and 'hunter gatherer' about a pick-up truck!

Hmm...

That would solve all my problems.

I really like the Mk 1 but hate the Mk 2 - it looks like the front and back isn't attached properly!

I've driven the work L200 warrior a few times and while it looks good, it isn't much fun to drive (on the road anyway, they wouldn't let me try it off road properly:thumbdwn:)

i am scared of these since one reversed over my mk3 ford fiesta bonnett and wing while i was in the car,

he didnt even know i was there

Nasty.

They are a pig to reverse, especially with a canopy on the back.

Pick-ups can be great fun off-road, but the problem I have with mine is that the leaf springs are rather too bouncy for my liking and sometimes it feels more like I'm at sea than on land if the ground's really uneven. I'd much sooner have a Land Rover but my boss wouldn't let me get one.

I find ladies sexy, not trucks.:)

At the end of the day, its all about the landy defender!!

And what do you hope to achieve with that?! It doesn't even have a tow-bar on the front!

Having driven a Navara (D40, new style) and a Mk2 L200, I would say that the Navara rules.

Hugely better on road, drives like a car, 171bhp, quietish, comfy good amount of spec in all grades.

Off road its size and weight can limit it but with AT tyres I have been some places that would be difficult to walk too.

That's more like it for the rough stuff ;)

And then when you're done just jet wash it inside and out

Their is only one thing on earth that can go anywhere::

:rofl::rofl:

A few years ago my neighbor bought a mk1 l200 without the canopy on the back. He bought it new and only used it on weekends when going out with the family and then used to make sure he got home early enough to wash it and vac it out when he got home. I thought those things were meant to be rug'ed

I'm not a big fan of them but I do prefer the looks of the mk1 to the mk2.. certainly not sexy though

The old one looks great:

The new one looks..........well.............odd really :thumbdwn: It all goes wrong aft of the front doors.

my aunty has a silver and purple animal l200 mk1 its really smart. i love the new l200 in black witht he animal kit

I like the older L200 in Warrior/Animal trim and even the regular 4Life jobbie, but the newer one looks a little odd

I find ladyboys sexy, not trucks.:)

too much information

I think I may have been mis-quoted somewhat.

I think I may have been mis-quoted somewhat.

Surely not.. that almost never happens on Brisky :rofl::D

The current L200 just doesn't look right at all, prefer the Hi-lux..

Considering Mitsi's current publicity drive, can anyone think of a 7-seat 4x4 in the same class as the 2.0l Outlander diesel that it can have lower CO2 emissions than? The only other 7-seat 4x4s I can think of are the Disco 3 and the Land Cruiser, and they're nothing like the same kind of car...???

Not sure whether it's in the same class, but the Volvo XC90 is a 7-seater 4x4 with fairly low emissions for the diesels...
