but having driven the car my new employers have given me (an Astra) I want my octavia back!

That's not an option but i'm thinking of taking up my new employers up on the monthly cash allowance instread of the lease car. I cannot belive how uncomfortable this Astra is! it's sounds sooooooo cheap and nasty and that's with 500 miles on the clock!!

I owned a 2017 Superb Mk III and recently swapped to a Mk IV and love the car apart from one very dangerous fault. Occasionally, the car decides I’m about to hit something and slams on the brakes - so hard, that you think you have hit something! It has happened several times whilst manoeuvering at low speed in reverse which is somewhat disquieting. But it has also recently done it whilst driving forwards - in no way on any occasion was there a risk of collision with either stationary or mobile

My 2012 Citigo ASG vehicle has developed a new fault. After a few hundred metres driving the engine suddenly revs high (then drops) and does not change gear. The amber (not red) cog warning light is displayed in the rev counter area. I read that this could be one of several issues that a OBD2 diagnostic check will reveal. My local independent garage that I use has said it would be safe to drive it to them to run the checks but they are eight miles away and I'm reluctant to do so. I could conta
