i'd like to be first in the "i told you so" line

its not that we are calling you stupid or anything mate its just that we don't think it will be a worth while investment.

on my brothers focus he changed the exhaust(manifold/decat/downpipe/everything back to the tail pipe) and an intake it does make a difference but that lot only cost him maybe £400 or so.

the thing is he did it on a 1.8 that was a bit strangled as standard, the gains you'll get from an exhaust will probably outshine the remap and won't cost as much either.
