Fixed!

I finally had the clutch, dmf and release bearing replaced at the weekend. The shudder is gone and the car is very smooth again to drive. I'd forgotten what it was like to drive before this judder started!

Exactly! About £520 all in but had I not found someone that could do it after hours it would have been considerably more.

Still.. the originals did 140k so if I get that from the new ones its not bad value :P

finally repaired almost exactly 6 months after diagnosis :rolleyes:

glad its fixed anyway :thumbup:

Yeah I know, I've had a lot on this year though :o

PS The judder started in August 2007!!
