I've already saved the equivalent of a small Indian elephant eating apple crumble.

It's no different to what some of the CAI manufacturers are claiming. I guess it forces the air to spin on intake so mixing the air/fuel better.

As to whether it would work, well

I would get one but I haven't got a wing nut on my air cleaner.:(
