08 plate fabia sport project

Featured Replies

Hi ive just bought a brand spanking speed yellow fabia2. im wanting to do some stuff to make it look more sporty. really important that it doesnt look like a **** mobile!!!! was thinking maybe having it lowered by about 40mm, tinting the windows more and possibly having it chipped?? anyone got any ideas? would be grateful:thumbup:

I to have a Skoda Fabia Sport 1.9tdi and am planning some mods!

I would suggest Eibach Suspension maybe lower by 30mm.

Anti roll bar - i believe a company called Whiteline do a suitable one!

Remap - custom remap by Jabba or if you want a removable one - Superchips Bluefin

Green Cotton Panel Filter

PD160 Air Intake if you really want to allow for future modifications!!

Then if at a later date you want to go really crazy:

New Garrett GTV179v Turbo

PD130 Injectors

Sachs Clutch

Remap to 170-180bhp!!!

Just some ideas:thumbup:

We have added Eibach springs, and we have REVO'd it.

Infact we have done two of our cars thinking about it!

stick a body kit on it and lower it

^^^I'm liking that, but needs bigger rims.

lower it a tad and stick some octy mk2 vrs alloys on it ;)

yeah ive been told that eibach are a good spring to use. as this is my first 'real' car (im 18) i wanna make it look the dogs. most 18 year olds near me are driving corsa's, clio's and nova's haha. i had my dads old 1.6 octy to start with. hes got a vrs diesel now.

Cant put OCT A5 alloys on, wrong stud pattern.

We put OCT A4 VRS ones on ours, there is a thread with a pic somewhere.

Here is another two pics...

that looks seriously good!!

Cheers.

If it was me with a yellow one (which we have just got...) Id do the roof a Graphite colur, lower it and get the alloys done the same colour as the roof....then take it from there

would skoda do the roof? or would it be far cheaper to get an aftermarket job done?

They only do the white from factory, but if your dealer has a bodyshop then see if they will do it, if not have a ring round...

Nice work Syd.

couldnt you just get some vynle stuff?:)

It may work, but im sure someone on here tried that mate, and it muffed up..IIRC....

Thanks Ants.

Hey Syd what remap have u got on yours and what is the performance like??

Mark

I'd definately lower it at least 25-30mm , and fit some bigger wheels. As for window tinting , arent the rear windows already done with the 'Sunset Glass' option? Oh , and get an insurance quote for your planed mods as well , that could be a killer , as regards your age.

that looks seriously good!!

I agree "thats a looking spanking"

A REVO upgrade (Its not mine by the way, its works demo!)

It ups it to 142ish bhp and a fair bit more torque.

Its great, still feels like it need a 6th gear though...

We had a company come in to try and do one of our showroom cars with white vinyl. Not easy as there are too many different curves and surfaces to cover. The guys that came in spent 2 hours doing it, it was shocking and suffice to say we didn't get charged. Easier to get it sprayed at a bodyshop.

Looks like how I imagine a Fabia II VRS would be like

Yeah thats why i did it like that.

IIRC the ocy 2 vrs alloys are 5x112 pcd, you need 5x100.

Eibach Pro-Kit Springs

Lowers Front: 30 mm & Rear: 30 mm

Car fitment

Skoda Fabia (6Y) Hatchback From :07/01>, Will Fit: 2.0, 1.4 TDI, 1.9 SDI, 1.9 TDI will they fit my 08 plate?

Can't believe how tiny 17s look on it!!! I think you could put 19s on tbh!!!

Its a shame the Octy2 wheels wont fit, 18" zeniths would be perfect. :)

6Y is the Mk1 Fabia, so no they aren't designed for your car. :)
