Cheap, good mods for less than

Featured Replies

Blatant rip-off of a thread on the mk4 golf forum.

Was wondering what mods people have done to their octys for less than £100?

Lets have 'em

For what engine????

Dog bone mount and a tank of V Power

My remap :)

lower strut brace, mudflaps,

erm K&N filter with separate breather filter, silicone pipe and bracket = induction kit, under 60quid

decat £75

Golf GTI mk4 seats 75quid

Octavia Vrs rear bumper 50quid

Octavia vrs rear spoiler 50quid

quite alot can be done cheap and to a good standard

not quite a mod but my best £50.00 was having a full wheel alignment done on my octi really helped bring the handling back up to speed

drilling the wheel arch = Free!!

K&N filter (2nd hand) £20ish

LCR Splitter £20 ish

Cheers

Take out the interior, have a good curry with the £100.

My TIP was about 100 quid

Replacement DV - not that useful I guess :)

Little things - aero wipers

Stubby aerial

Rear interior lights

Sunglasses holder

Milotec bling if you like that sort of thing :)

I can be bought for less than £100.....

Sorry cheap joke...... but I'd suggest Poly suspension bushes. Cheap to buy, but fitting can be expensive if you can't do it yourself.

New standard rear discs and pads, replacing worn-out discs with a half-inch rust rim on them.

:thumbup:Had mine done at Elite in Essex. Obviously hadn't been done for a while cos it did make a difference.

Two tanks of 99 RON and a magic tree.

Just bought myself a set of front ones for $210 - about 90 quid.

Fitting is going to be... interesting :)
