I drive the Octy for work (but its all mine).

1.9 TDi Elegance hatch back (as it had crusie control and rear parking sensors). Stom Blue as I always wanted a metallic blue car.

Planning my next Skoda already (not due until 2010 at the earliest !!) I think i might be going for an estate (the boot on the hatch is fantastic (but why can't it also have the 12V aux socket?). Probably the 4x4 in a metallic grey. Probably be Mk3 Octy by then and I just fear that they will ruin it somehow and i will have to cough up for a ****rat (Although they are stunning cars). I wonder if there is a phobia for the fear that the next car model will be ugly (e.g. as experienced recently by fans of the subaru imprezza).

I have seen the Scout, but probably a step to far.

If Skoda do as good a job as they have recently done on the Superb than I guess my fears will be unfounded.
